Commuter Ferry
The Seaport Ferry offers service between the Seaport and North Station or East Boston. It operates Monday through Friday during the morning and evening commutes with departures every 20-minutes. The service is open to the public with over 15 seats available to public riders on any of the dozens of daily departures.

MBTA commuter ferries travel year round from Hingham to Rowes Wharf, Hingham and Hull to Long Wharf, and from Charlestown to Long Wharf. Check the MBTA website for boat service details and schedules.
Additionally, seasonal ferries travel to Long Wharf from East Boston, Salem, Lynn, and Winthrop/Quincy.
Rowes Wharf and Long Wharf are within walking distance to many points throughout the South Boston Waterfront.

Water taxi providers operate year-round throughout Boston Harbor, providing on-demand service between various docks in the South Boston Waterfront and popular destinations including Logan International Airport, Charlestown, the North End, East Boston, and more. Call ahead to arrange a pick-up and inquire about specific harbor destinations and rates.

Boston Harbor Bus operates seven days per week, year-round throughout Boston Harbor, providing regular, scheduled service between the South Boston Waterfront and Logan International Airport.

Ferry Commuter Program
The Seaport Ferry is the fastest way to get from the Seaport to North Station or East Boston. The ferry runs M-F during commuting hours.
