Moving. Engaging. Connecting.

The Seaport TMA is a nonprofit transportation management association in the South Boston Waterfront working to improve economic vitality in the district by supporting sustainable commute options through advocacy and commuter services.

“What is a TMA?”

A transportation management association (TMA) is generally a private, nonprofit association of businesses who join for purposes of decreasing vehicular traffic congestion, improving air quality, and advancing transportation options. A TMA serves employers within specified geographical bounds and has a financial dues structure, for which the TMA provides advocacy, commuter programs, and other services to employees.

Our Mission

Seaport TMA offers transportation programs and advocates for transportation projects and policies that help keep the Seaport moving and thriving as an extraordinary place to live, work, play, and visit.

Our Purpose

To improve mobility, ease congestion, reduce vehicle emissions, and support the success of the Seaport District.

“Boston Children’s Museum continues to be a Seaport TMA member after more than 20 years because of the Seaport TMA’s effective leadership in addressing transportation and commuter needs throughout the Seaport and Fort Point.”
